Effect of Pressor substance in the decidua and amniotic fluid of patients with acute toxemia of pregnancy on the rabbit and rat E.C.G. (1)

Abstract
|
|
|
1) Electrocardiogram of the rabbit was showed sinus slowing and increased amplitude of ventricular complex (QRS-T) by the administration of pressor substance in the decidi a and amniotic fluid of patients with acute toxemia of pregnancy.
2) Sinus slowing and increased amplitude of ventricular complex by the administration of pressor substance in the decidua and amniotic fluid of patients with acute, toxemia, of pregnancy are different in each one according to the severty of clinical symptoms.
3) Sinus slowing and increased amplitude of ventricular complex is more marked by the administration of pressor substance in the decidua than amniotic fluid of patients with acute toxemia of pregnancy.
4) Myocardial damage is always produced by the administration of pressor substance in the decidua and amniotic fluid ofr acute toxemia of pregnancy on the rabbit and rat E.C.G.
